    Ingredients:
    – 1 lb ground beef
    – 2 Tomato
    – 4 Green Onions
    – 4 tbs Taco Sauce ( I use spicy)
    – 1 cup Sour Cream
    – 1 Pack Taco Seasoning ( OldElPaso )
    – 2/3 cup water
    – Head of Iceburg Lettuce
    – Cheddar Cheese Grated

    Instructions:
    1. Brown ground beef on med. heat and drain. Return to pan and add the water and packet of taco seasoning.
    2. Chop tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. I keep my extras in containers for easy assembly next day. Grate up lots of cheese!
    3. Serve in bowl and add 1tbs taco sauce per bowl and top with sour cream. Then add your lettuce, tomatoes and green onion. Top with cheese.
    I put the left over meat in another container and usually get at least 4-5 bowls from this. With everything chopped it’s easy meals for a few days.

    Update 2: Homemade Taco Seasoning

    * 2 tbsp Chili powder
    * 1 tbsp Cumin
    * 1 tbsp Sea salt
    * 1/2 tbsp Black pepper
    * 1/2 tbsp Smoked paprika (or regular paprika if you don’t have smoked)
    * 1 tsp Dried oregano (or dried cilantro)
    * 1 tsp Garlic powder
    * 1/2 tsp Onion powder
    * 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper (or 1/4 tsp if you like spicy)

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Stir all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container.
    2. How to use taco seasoning mix: Brown the ground beef (or other meat) first. Then, add 2 tbsp seasoning and 1/2 cup water per pound of meat. Simmer until the extra liquid evaporates or absorbs into the meat.

    RECIPE NOTES
    Recipe makes approximately 6 tbsp total. Use 2 tbsp per 1 lb meat, with no additional salt – more details in the post above. Serving size is for enough seasoning for 1/4 lb of meat, which would be 1/2 tbsp seasoning.
    Serving size: 1/2 tbsp – 12 Servings

    Looks awesome! The secret is to make sure you use lots of different toppings so that you don’t even notice the lack of taco shell.

    Pro tip: Stop using pre-packaged taco seasoning and [mix you’re own](https://www.cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/alton-brown/taco-potion-19-2115513). It’s noticeably better.

    You seem to have forgotten the avocado. It’s a legal requirement here in Texas.

    This makes me really hungry now. Looks good. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of eating those walking tacos as a kid. Minus the carbs of course.
