    I think it could be improved if you put the steaks on a rack so the underside can brown as much as the top.

    It would also make room for more veggies and you could choose which one would benefit the most from being under the steaks to soak up most of the juices.

    1.5 cups cherry tomatoes
    1 large carrot cut into coins
    1 yellow bell pepper diced
    1 medium red onion diced
    10 spears asparagus, trimmed and halved
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 cloves garlic
    4 sprigs fresh thyme

    1lb sirloin steak
    1 tablespoon olive oils
    1 clove garlic
    Salt and pepper to taste

    1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees
    2) Prepare the veggies
    3) Place the tomatoes, peppers, carrots, onions, and asparagus on a baking sheet (try not to let the veg overlap too much so they cook properly)
    4) Season w/olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
    5) Add garlic cloves and thyme on top. Bake for 15 mins.
    6) Take tray out of the oven and push veg to the outside of the tray to make room for the steaks. Place steak in the middle of the tray. Season both sides with salt and pepper
    7) Put a clove of garlic on top of each steak, and put back in the oven for 10 mins, or until desired level of doneness is reached
    8) Allow steaks to rest for 5-10 mins, then plate w the veggies
    9) Enjoy!
