    Awesome Catfish and Asparagus recipe my s/o whipped up for us this evening. While living the keto lifestyle we have been finding awesome takes on dishes that were not keto friendly before, but actually turned out better when they became keto friendly. If it looks good to you… Give it a try

    2 10oz Catfish Fillets
    1 tbs paprika
    2 tbl Cajun seasoning (Louisiana fish fry products)
    1 tbl onion powder
    1 tbl Garlic Powder
    1 peeled garlic clove
    1/4 tsp pink salt
    1 room temp stick butter
    1/2 lemon

    1. Place Fillets in a plastic bowel, and coat Fillets in butter.
    2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, pink salt and paprika to bowl and massage seasonings in to the fish.
    3. Remove and lay on a tray
    4. Simmer cast iron on medium low
    5. Add half stick of butter to cast iron
    6. Add garlic clove
    7. Add pinch of pink salt
    8. Simmer for 2 minutes until butter starts to brown
    9. Add both Fillets and cook on med/low for 5 mins
    10. Flip and cook until internal temp is 140, should take total about 12 mins
    11. Turn heat to med high and cook on each side until dark brown
    12. Remove Fillets and put them on a cooling tray for 5 mins.
    13. Add the lemon to the pan and allow it to brown.
    14. Squeeze the lemon juice on top of the fish and Enjoy!

    Note:
    The lemon juice adds about 4-5 carbs to come to a total of 11g of carbs.. Without the lemon jucis about 5-6 net carbs

    Asparagus

    1 tbs coconut oil
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp onion powder
    1/2 clove chopped garlic
    1 tsp black pepper

    1. Simmer on low
    2. Throw in oil and spices
    3. Mix in asparagus
    4. Raise heat to medium
    5. Cook for 5-10 mins depending how soft you want your asparagus
    6. Remove and top with feta cheese
    7. Enjoy
