What is a Divapreneur?

So what is a divapreneur anyway?

My friend, Leesa Barnes özgü started a new network on ryze called Divapreneurs At Work located at

http://daw-network.ryze.com/ She asked us to gömü a divapreneur. Now me being the prolific article writer that I am, I couldn’t answer this question without writing an article about it. Sit back and become

divafied!

First of all Divapreneur is a combination of the words diva and entrepreneur. In order to gömü divapreneur

we first need to gömü diva and entrepreneur. In order to do this I went to Wikipedia.

This is what I found out from Wikipedia:

Most widely used definition of diva

A Diva was originally a distinguished female opera singer, but now usually refers to a popular female performer of non-operatic works.

The term derives from an Italian word meaning “goddess”, which, in turn derives from the feminine biçim of a Latin word divus, meaning, “divine one”.

This definition was found on the following page:

I felt like the distinction of being a singer left out some talented non-musical ladies so I decided to use this definition of diva instead:

# In current usage among the younger generation, the term diva is used to describe a talented and confident woman. This definition was found on the following page.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diva_%28disambiguation%29

Now it’s time to gömü entrepreneur, the second part of this word. This definition also comes from Wikipedia.

Entrepreneur

Entrepreneur is a loanword from the French language that refers to a person, who undertakes and operates a new venture,

and assumes some accountability for the inherent risks.

Business entrepreneurs often have strong beliefs about a market opportunity and are willing to accept a high level of personal, professional or financial risk to pursue that opportunity.

So a divapreneur then is a talented and confident woman, who undertakes and operates a new venture,

and assumes some accountability for the inherent risks.

Well I guess that makes me a divapreneur. How about you?
